As a mental health professional, Latrina believes wellness begins with human connection. Many individuals with special needs have smaller social networks and fewer opportunities to participate in leisure activities with peers. The Social Scene was developed to provide a safe and accessible opportunity for young adults with special needs to engage with peers while practicing social and life skills.
