Monthly Meetup: Sept. 6 @ 5:30

Welcome to The Semicolon Walls, a new joint venture between Redstick C.A.R.E.S. and You Aren't Alone Project. The semicolon represents the intentional continuation of someone's life in the face of suicidal thoughts and mental health struggles. The reminder that when we could've ended the sentence (the story), we instead chose to keep going.

The goal of the project is to build a collection created by and for artists who share the hardships behind their creations, to provide some hope for healing, and build a community of acceptance, safety, and support. The vision is to cover the walls of Redstick C.A.R.E.S. with a gallery that is raw, vulnerable, honest, destigmatizing, and provides a sense of hope that pain always ends.

What we need from you:

A piece of art that has been part of your story, to display on these walls to help break down stigma and barriers to having REAL conversations about mental health. Along with a letter to your younger self, who may have been struggling to keep going... OR a story of your own resilience through that piece of art. We cannot wait to hear your story.
