Harveston After School Enrichment

We start the week with a plan! On Monday, the group reviews upcoming assignments and set goal for our week.

Female participants attend a mental health focused group about the challenges of being a female and work on healthy relationships with their bodies and minds.

Male participants attend a strategy games group where they discuss themes of healthy communication, impulse control, and anger management.

On Wednesday, our group cooks dinner for their family! Cooking 101 teaches basic kitchen skills and allows the participants to walk away empowered by being able to feed their loved ones. 

Participants can choose between extra study time and fencing class.  

Throughout the year, our participants are in charge of their Friday. They meet to agree on activities, plan fundraisers, and enjoy their hard work!
